Key Properties

Cork footbeds deliver superior shock absorption, high compressibility with excellent recovery, and lightweight resilience, reducing foot fatigue during prolonged use. They provide natural thermal regulation, moisture wicking, antimicrobial qualities, and odor resistance, maintaining comfort in varied conditions. Their biodegradability and renewable sourcing from cork oak bark support sustainable production without compromising performance.

Manufacturing Process

Production starts with harvesting cork bark, boiling to purify, grinding into granules, and blending with polymers like natural rubber, SBR, or EVA in ratios such as 1:1 to 1:4. The mix forms blocks via vulcanization under heat and pressure (e.g., 135-140°C for 30+ minutes), followed by cooling, cutting to thickness (4-5mm), shaping with molds or CNC tools, and optional lamination to fabric or EVA bases using adhesives.

Designs and Quality Available

There are 5 different designs available in ladies (sizes 35-42), 2 different designs in gents (sizes 39-46) and kids (sizes 18-42). Two types of qualities are available:

Normal- regular weight, rubber blended footbed, buffed finish and economical price

BS- light weight, latex blended footbed, premium textured finish
